IQ Psychometric Testing
IQ Psychometric Testing
An Assessment tool we use in addition to counselling sessions is psychometric assessment testing to assess an individual’s level of cognitive and academic and professional functioning.
Psychometric assessments are conducted using reliable and valid measures that evaluate an individual’s academic potential (Intelligence Quotient –IQ) and academic ability.
Using the Wechsler Intelligence Scale for Children – Fifth Edition (WISC-V) to evaluate a child between the ages of 6 to 16 years for cognitive functioning. The WISC-V evaluates a child for and identifies giftedness, intellect including intellectual disabilities, learning disorders and the impact of brain injuries.
